I do not agree with the 7 games! So ridiculous.. can't wait till your back on the court Metta!!

  2. Vince Joshi Apr 24

Its a BS suspension Metta, I cant believe that they didnt see that it was an accident and unintentional!!! Im disgusted how the NBA and the Media always tries to make Metta a bad guy when we all know you are a fun loving gentle person in real life!! I hope the Lakers dont miss a beat until you come back!! Go Metta!!!!!

  3. Matt Simonetti Apr 24

hey metta, i just wanted to say i know how it feels to get caugh up in the moment, im only 13 but refs make me calm myself quite friend, next time just watch were your going haha... i would LOVE a reply from a laker, @Matt_Simonetti twitter

  4. Pablo morales Apr 24

Hey metta don't let this situation be your down fall. lakers will coast through the first round . I hope you still come out with that fire you had before thins happened. If you ever need to talk hit me up homeboy. Peace

  5. FOUAD AHWAZI Apr 24

keep ya head up... COME BACK REAL QUICK!! LA ALL DAY.. LEGGOO

  6. Ron, I'm unbiased. A Rockets fan. You had to know the bow was gonna be frowned on. But as for these folks calling for your head?! They have no perspective. Its obvious the bow wasnt meant to be a KO, it was a "get off meh!" What happened when Love intentionally stomped Scola's face? Nothing. Keep playing your game and bringing the frikkin intimidation. It's great for the sport.

  7. mar Apr 24

you're still one of my favorite bball player. just like charles barkley elbow that skinny dude in the Olympics... well kinda, cuz he elbowed him in his chest. :-)

  8. jacey Apr 24

love you metta! we know you're a good guy and this whole thing will blow over, keep your head up and know laker nation loves you and will be waiting for you to return!

  9. Hank Bessinger Apr 24

Ron , you are still the man . Things happen , it's part of competing sometimes, stay on the grind baby... You are the difference maker that will get LA another championship . Ever since Gary Payton left the league , I followed you .. Love the D

  10. Metta I support you. I know what happened was in the heat of the moment. And many people will want to condemn you for your past. Make this right. A lot of people are going to want to see you fail, work hard, be prepared and when you step back onto that court give it your all.

    Im counting on you!!!

  11. joweeee Apr 25

i see no fault in what you did. I find fault with harden for not backing away from your celebration. dave stern...the suspension is too harsh. if you want to protect p[layers protect all. what about blake griffins hard foul on gasol ? don't be predudice against the lakers. Metta your my boy. Good playing..glad your a laker

  12. keith Apr 25

No apology needed. He has been trash talking folks all year. First , Kobe and then you . He attempted to stop your celebrating . I am a Laker for life . He got what he deserved and I hope your elbow is ok.

  13. Victor Apr 25

Keep your head up man! True Laker fans support you! Let's win it all!

  14. Jessica Apr 25

Well said! You're a true champion both on & off the court, MWP. So much negative press about that incident & dredging up stuff that happened years ago. The progress you've made & contributions to the game are awesome.

  15. Luc Apr 25

    Metta for ever

  16. A Apr 25

You did wrong and you accepted the applogy. Chapter Closed!!

  17. janard Apr 25

I am a die hard Laker fan and truth be told, I luv the way Metter plays the game ; however you have to draw the line somewhere because if that was Kobe we wouldve wanted him thrown out of the league

  18. Tom Apr 25

Ron, I appreciate your apology to the OKC fans. Why did you not apologize to James directly? You are a role model for many, especially young men, whether you want to or not. Please make a commitment that something like this will not happen again.

  19. Theresa Apr 25

Cause of his "over excited dunk" James had to pay for it! IDC if it was an accident of not! James had to sit out cause of it and so its just as fair and FYI dont believe it was an accident! All you laker fans are gonna stand behind him well just like i stand behind my Thunder boys! Its kinda weird that he has a history of doing shady things like this? So why is this one any different? Thunder is taking over the NBA!!!!

  20. Sam Apr 25

We all know that it was the heat of the moment and unintentional from your side. The NBA wants to stop the Lakers's flow in the play-offs. But Lakers are gonna come back stronger. Can't wait to see you in action in the second round. Come back stronger!!!

Keep your head up MWP. You're the man. James Harden is one of the dirtiest players around who had a blow like that coming to him for a long time. He should be grateful he gets to be in the news this much because of you!

  23. Matthew Apr 25

You did a great job metta, Keep your head up man! Laker fans supports! c'mon 7 games! we're gonna miss you!! wish you luck God Bless...

  24. You're really not gonna apologize to James Harden?

  25. ken wilson Apr 25

dear meta world peace -this is the way i see it - your situation is similar to carter's in your position with the Laker Organization-your talent is overlooked or underplayed because of the likes of bryant etc. still is there any loyalty when odim is traded and fisher is set astray in the deep ocean of inequality and predudice-i never thought about the implications of your elbow until i realized the social religious and political implications- i do hope you will be able to read this because i think you may have a team filtering what they think you should read and what you should not-to me it is beyond doubt that you intended to hit harden with intent to hurt-your eyes give you away-crocadile eyes-get the drift? it is so obvious even shark oneille said it was absolutely intentional-still what does this action mean-amoment of cel
ibration of a gifted athelete-expressing his intense happiness with his own recognition of his talent without the glorifiction of sir coby -so harden should not have stepped in your way- true-but you probbly thought he was just like you- athird world victim-his beard representing the brotherhood of muslims-and how could a brother step in your way -so be it -stern should be fired for allowing beards and obviously tattoos-so disgusting to distort the pure radiance of the skin - i do not think you have any tattoos- so it looks like you are not a dviant or criminal- but i do not want to die- so there could be exceptions to the rule- did jesus have tattoos-or mother mary?

  26. Lor Apr 25

I think the elbow was a display of complete ignorance! Someone who is in a position with millions of children watching his conduct should never allow a direct or in-direct incident like that to ever happen in a public venue.

  27. Metta can't wait to see you play again!! I'll miss you these 7 games :(

  28. Jeff Apr 25

I agree with keith. Im tired of seeing and hearing soft little shmuck faced harden talk smack to the lakers and kobe in particular, a person who has 5 rings to his ZERO. I hope your elbow didnt sustain any damage.

  29. Doug Apr 25

Ron--shrug this off and keep playing hard. Keep playing how you play.

  30. Brandon Apr 25

Harden is a punk. He faked the injury. Not difficult to fake it since their team doesn't need the win. He was staring at ya while holding his head. Reminds me of what they do in soccer. After suspension, all of a sudden he is fine again. Read this joke I came up with. I hope to make you laugh. A direct tv commercial parody.

When you get cable, you get frustrated. When you get frustrated, u get a mohawk. when u get a mohawk,u act like a punk. when u act like a punk, u start punking MWP while he is celebrating. when u r punking MWP, u get knock da hell(f) out. don't get cable, u will get knock da hell(f) out.

  31. yo Metta! Totally dig your page bruh. Don't think it's right you got suspended, esp after considering that Harden is already game ready and the elbow wasn't so serious after all. Your hard fouls got nothing on Dwyane Wade's dirty fouls man. Don't let the haters get you down. Use the time off to condition and stay healthy & focus on the positive. The Lakers are gonna need you when you come back! Have a positive day.

  32. chris Apr 26

It happens people get caught up in the moment I'm not a L.A. fan bring from houston Texas but love watching metta play he is involved in every play on the court. he plays hard every day and can really get his fans involved in every game ...... metta just keep doin what you do and best of luck in the playoffs.

  33. Harden is a known Hater, he purposely bumps into you & used his elbow first. You did a "Get the hell off me" move but unfortunately connected but that bitch asked for it cuz you were just tryna clear space.
look at every rebound made in the NBA, players throw their elbows wildly all the time to clear space ALL the time!! This takes nothing away from you brotha, We got ur back in LA!!
And come to ICON across the street soon I DJ there on saturdays. stay for Red Cup Sundays lol

  34. Lady Nana Apr 26

I am a basketball fan period so I watch a lot of different NBA games. All kinds of stuff happens on the court and half the time I'm left wondering why there was no ejection or foul called. Even with your elbow movement it is clear that you never looked at him and therefore could not be accused of intending to hit him in the head, shoulder or even chest maybe, but not his head. Please keep up your skills and don't get lazy :-D The Lakers need you to come back and play the exact same way you were playing before this happened and don't let the haters steal your joy.

  35. Don Apr 26

It is a contact sport, he got in your space-intentionally. He's done it before to others, trying to get a flagrant. Alls part of the game. Fair or not.

  36. Don Apr 26

Love ya Metta, Maybe go back to blowing kisses. Less likely to be called a foul. Unless Joey Crawford is on the floor. Come back stronger than ever, we need you.

  37. I think the nba just has something against the lakers n u ron otr, keep doing what u been doing ron

  38. Will Apr 26

As a laker fan I am with u !!!! practice and be better for the playoff .
    We'll miss u ! !

  39. Mark Apr 27

    Hey Ron,

I am a thunder fan, and we all know that you are a super good person. You have been my hero over your shining a light on those with mental health issues. Very few people in your position are willing to shine a light on those who suffer horribly. I think you will be very welcome in OKC. Your acts of being candid have proved beyond a doubt that you are an unusually good human being. Hey, its true. And your message went out when you raised so much money giving away your only ring. If you ever want a good dinner in OKC, email and we will treat you great!

  40. Giovanna Apr 27

Hey Metta: Like many, I watched the replay many times. Don't think you meant to hit James in the head. He was going for the inbound pass. Simple as that. You were amped on adrenalin. I don't understand the officiating half the time anyway. Sometimes they call stuff, sometimes they don't. To banish you from playing in the first playoff series seems way harsh. Seems like some politics going on behind the scenes. Keep up the good work, keep trying to improve, keep playing hard, and know that many out here support your efforts. Ciao, baby.

  41. Marko Apr 28

They may boo you when you get on the court, but remember they did it to Kobe too,,,he got through it and you will too,,,,be strong and know your not a bad person,,,,most of all when you come back ,be hyper focused,PLAY HARD and practice in the mean time.
    Peace love and God bless

  42. Randall Manning May 14

just focus on whats in front of you and stay true to your game it's going
to be a long road but faith and determination will pull you through this!

  43. AJ May 14

to brandon: you should get your facts straight, harden had to sit out several days from any sort of participation due to a concussion which is one of the most serious long term injuries for all sports. Heat of the moment or not, that was a malicious hit and the guy obviously has a history, therefore they are going to sanction harder on MWP. We all know metta plays the game very well and with a lot of passion however that play was disgraceful and I felt like he visited a dark place when he pulled that cheap shot on harden...

  45. I get what people are saiyng. Give me $15k & you can elbow me in the grill. But I don't think people are grasping the enormity of liability issues for the NBA/NFL & the extreme measures they will take to make sure they're demonstrating their efforts to provide a safe working environment. 1. He's got a history. 2. It was clearly intentional3. The NBA has already demonstrated their piggy backing off the NFL for concussion/safety protocols. I'm telling you, he's going to get hammered. I've said before & I believe he'll miss the 1st round.
