16 years after his death, he was brought back to life via hologram. When his songs come on the radio, in the club, at house parties…people know every verse. Everyone knows where they were when they heard he got shot. From California to New York, Tupac Shakur has led the hip hop game for generations. Today, on June 16th, he would have been 41 years old. Metta would like to celebrate the life of the poet, activist, revolutionist and artist:
“Tupac, Happy birthday a legend for all real homies. I was inspired by his intelligence and education. Not so much the black on black confrontation.”
The gift he gave the music industry and his fans was to overcome all challenges in life. Metta comments on the lessons he learned through listening to his lyrics:
“Tupac represented the man who used his mentality to bring him out of his tough life….He was someone that taught me about the streets through his music”
This is in honor of Shakur’s journey to expose the truth about social conditions in the inner cities. He will continue to live on as we picture him rollin’, all we can do is close our eyes and listen to his music.
I know. I'm trying. It's just hard soemtimes when you feel like you have no one to confide in. It's not that no one cares, but people are so wrapped up in their own lives and their own problems. I hate feeling like burden, you know?So I just cry.. and yeah.. Sometimes it helps. What I tell you about Drake? Lol. He gets somewhat addictive. Oh and I ♥ Little Brother =]
